Glow Kit -”Based in Denmark and featuring members of Cola Freaks, Bliglad and Snow Kite, Glow Kit blasts thru a mix of Power Pop and Garage Punk with a touch of psych guitars that will have fans of LOVER!, The Manikins, and Carbones fans strip off their protective gear and dance in spasms in a lethal mushroom cloud. This debut LP follows up a 7” on P.trash records from Germany. This North American release is limited to 200 copies on reverse stock covers (The German release on P.Trash will have standard covers). This LP will find its way into the New Testament of the Garagepunk-Bible”

We have our first stack of these in and up for sale. We also wanted to give a few copies of our test pressing away. Uusally we will work that with preorders so this is the way we are gonna work it this time. We are gonna give away 3 test pressings. The idea is I will give away test pressings with the following orders, order #1, order # 40, order # 75 (and no I wont tell you where we are with orders this is my best way of keeping it random). Winners will be contacted and posted on the page at a later date. We actually posted 2 songs from the album to give a taste.

Digital Leather The new LP “Modern Problems” has offically been out for a little under 3 weeks now. The first pressing flew off the shelf before the actual release. The good news is we now have the repressing in stock. Also dont forget P.Trash in Germany will have a excluive version for its club members only (limited to 100 copies). Here is a video for a live take of Enzymes from the record. The live version of Digital Leather is for sure more of a rock approach then the recordings but just the same this is a great song. Regardless we posted the album version on our player and here is the live video

Backstock Clearance In order to make some space in the office I lowered prices on a bunch of older items(in some cases below my actual cost). We now have a bunch of LP’s lowered in price as low as 5$ each and a bunch of 7″s as low as 1$ each. So why not add a closeout item to your new order?

Suicide Bong Tapes In my last post I mentioed a upcoming tape label. My friend who I am doing the label with helped release the “Truthdealer” record about a year ago and used the name Suicide Bong. We decided to make that the name of the tape label. So Truthdealer was sort of our first release. Anyways we will have 3 tapes coming out in April. Digital Leather – The new LP “Modern Problems” is out now. Its already starting to get some nice reviews from the likes of Amp,Spin, Get Bent, Buddyhead, SYFFAL and more. The first pressing of the LP is sold out. However we have more in route from the pressing plant as we speak. We will have these back in stock next week and currently are taking orders for the repress.

Glow Kit – The first LP for this great band from Denmark featuring members of Cola Freaks, Bliglad and Snow Kite. This one is very close to done we expect to have our copies in a month or so. We will be doing the very limited North American release (under 200 copies) with P.Trash doing the Euro version. Crusaders of Love – This french powerpop band will be releasing their second LP with us after a great debut record on Douchemaster about a year ago. This one will be hitting the pressing plant very soon and should be out around June. The record will be a must for fans of THE EXPLODING HEARTS, THE BUZZCOCKS, GENTLEMAN JESSE, THE NERVES and other like minded powerpop bands. Check back soon for a song and preorders (we will be doing some giveaways with this preorder)

Spent Flesh – After a self released CDR and a upcoming tape we will be co-releasing a 10″ (our first 10″ release!) for this raging 3 piece Thrash band from Philly. Expect more info on this one soon from us, P.Trash records, and Sit and Spin records as this one is gonna hit the streets this June.

Outer Minds – The long awaited LP from this band will be landing on FDH, Resurrection, and Red Lounge later this year. This amazing 60′s style psych / pop band has released 7″s on Hozac, Goodbye Boozy, & Push my Buttons as well as a LP of older tracks thats about to come out on Southpaw. Be sure to grab these killer releases and check this Chicago based band out tour (and SXSW) ina few months as a lead up to the new LP. More info soon.

Destruction Unit & Ryan Rousseau For years FDH has been the label releasing most of Ryan Rousseau’s bands including DESTRUCTION UNIT, EARTHMEN & STRANGERS, and TOKYO ELECTRON. Ryan will be starting his own label this year “Cactus Man Records”. To help him get his feet in the water FDH will be co-releasing 2 LP’s with him. The new DESTRUCTION UNIT album “Kofa” and the debut vinyl release from RYAN ROUSSEAU (as a solo artist) “the glow” are both slated as co-releases later this year.

Poppets This Lofi Swedish garage pop 2 piece will be returning to FDH for a brand new LP later in 2012.

New tape Label So after 9 years FDH is to the point that we will only be doing LP’s (and maybe a handful of 10″s). However that doesnt mean we dont still love other formats. In fact we got our humble start doing alot more tape and CDR releases. So FDH is teaming up with Sick Chattel Productions to create a new sub division of FDH. This yet to be named sub division will be doing cassette releases. The idea will be all tapes will be limited to 100 copies and we will work exclusively with Philadelphia bands. We have a few things in the works including a tape for SPENT FLESH (see above about their 10″) and a few other bands we are talking with. The idea is to help promote local bands and do it with professional manufactured cassettes at a very reasonable price (prices are not set in stone yet but I think we will be doing 4$ each or 3 for 10$) . 10 years of FDH comp – Even though we just hit 9 years I am already thinking and planning on how to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Its in the very early stages but we are planning on doing a comp. The idea will be to get this as a free download online for the masses and a very limited LP (probably 100 made) that will only be available direct from FDH for my loyal customers. If you are reading this and are interested in possibly getting one of the LP’s I encourage you to reach out to me now via e-mail as I have already started a list of people who will be able to buy this, and Im gonna be strict about this. The LP is really designed for my die hard customers. The download will be for the masses. This comp will feature all unreleased material for a list thats still in the works but includes ARMEDALITE RIFLES, DESTRUCTION UNIT, RYAN ROUSSEAU, DIGTIAL LEATHER, MAC BLACKOUT, POPPETS, CRUSADERS OF LOVE, STRANGE ATTRACTOR, and many more

In order to make some room for the new stuff in my record room I need to get some of this out of here. So I am lowering a bunch of prices. In alot of cases the new lower prices are at or even below the cost to manufacture the items. Im talking about 7″s and CD’s for 1 or 2$ and LP’S as low as 5$ each.
